We pay for 2 users, can we use same user name with 1 & 2 at the end as we had previously?
Can we edit our new username once chose to reflect this?

Have just seen that we can use 1 & 2 at the end, but if we chose a username without the number, can we edit it to add the number & create a new username?

Hey Priscilla, once a username has been assigned it cannot be changed. But you can set up what ever you like so long as it fits these perimeters. Thanks!

H Priscilla, and once you've assigned user names you can still use the full xxxxxxx-1 or 2 to login.

How do I change from using numbers as a Username, to a word that means something to the client?

Surely you must be able to edit a username    Alternatively how do you get the username not to appear next to the book/company name on reckon one?????

You are asking a question about Reckon ONE that is off topic.   This forum question was about RA HOSTED.   You'd be better to start your question on a new topic so others can find it.  But to get your issue resolved asap,  you'd log into Reckon ONE with the username (COde xxxxxx-x ) and then go to the Control Panel, and choose PROFILE and change the user name there in for that xxxxxx-x.)

Meantime, let's look at the HOSTED question for Sara at "A Balancing Act....

Sara (A Balancing Act)   re:  Reckon Accounts HOSTED

The issue of a username for HOSTED is offered the first time that HOSTED recognises that User ID  xxxxxxx-x  doesn't have one, and you can generate one of your own (without any special characters!).   The tutorial at the foot of the HOSTED screen where you select either @015R2  or Control Panel,  is available to describe that aspect.   It links you to:   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N6xaEOf0ps8

But once a user name is make,  than the CONTROL PANEL button leads you to Practice Management choices such as MANAGE USERS (not clients!).  IN there, you can see the relationship between the USER ID and the username  previously made.

Clicking on the USER ID let's you adjust a number of things, but I fail to see a facility there for altering the username already in place (once made).    I recall this requiring a call to PSG Support to modify.   I had to avail myself of that approach some 6 months or so ago,  because there was no obvious way to detect which    xxxxx-x   ID accounts had HOSTED rights/access versus Reckon ONE access/rights (or both!).

was in the middle of editing two posts when Rav provided the good oil of an answer.  I was trying to mention in Reckon ONE that user particulars (not username as a separate login field of information) is all that users can change in that Manage Users box.  (the above post can't be edited now).
