editing employee paycheque detail

I use Reckon Hosted. I have tried to edit employee paycheque detail to appear the consistent amount but have failed miserably! I tried to change it within the paycheque detail (amount does not stay permanent) I have change it in the Employee Centre - Edit Employee - Payroll and Compensation (this is the correct amount but does not show correct amount in the employee paycheque detail. I have also put the correct amount within the paycheque default without it connecting to the employee paycheque detail. How can I have consistent correct amount for this one employee without changing each week????

    This problem is a bit hard to understand Sandra... do you have some screen shots to show what is happening and also details of what type of payroll items you are referring to and how they are setup?  it may help one of us here to point you in the right direction.  Cheers Linda
