elite tax system is too slow and the support is very poor . do not know how to fix the problem.

Hi there Susie,
Sorry to hear you're experiencing poor performance, can you give us a bit more detail on this. Is it occurring when you perform a certain task or function etc? 

Have you had a chat with support already? Has there been any troubleshooting conducted already?

If so, is there a case number that you can provide so I can chase it up with the team?

I think that they are terribly understaffed. 3 days l got the message of no one available to help and the call ended. In the end l got a lovely lady who worked with someone in the backroom and solved my issues. One problem was updated software and NO ADVICE as to necessary changes in input.

Just hope the merger with MYOB doesn't proceed!

We are changing software providers. I can't run a practice as l have had to.

I have reviewed the alternative software provider, spoken to people using it, and will be staying with Reckon for my practice, although my previous practice will be changing. Reckon have closed India and they tell me this morning that new people are being trained. It is a pity that the phone has a recorded message and then goes CLUNK! ... no chance to leave a message or any indication when you can phone back - this happened to me over 3 full days and I phone several times a day! I have reported it today and hope they change their response systems. If you can't lodge advise the ATO and they are very understanding.

Reckon may be a devil at times, but it is one I know ... and swear about at times. A lot of issues are ATO generated and SBR/PLS generated which sympathetic ATO staff will attest to. If you are going to change you should check a few users of that system firstly ... and compare prices and what you get for that price with Handysoft. Apart from the front covers you usually have to reload all of the other client data, and that not seem a big job done individually but try doing all of your clients at once!
