I would like to edit emails before sending. At the moment when I press email in statements/estimates its sent without opening the outlook. I would like the outlook to open up so I can edit the email content. Anyway know how to change this setting? I'd greately appreciate your help.

    Hi Kevin,

    Welcome to the Reckon Community.

You can view emails before they are sent when you select the preference: Display each email when sending more than one in Edit > Preferences > Online .

You can then edit the email before it is sent.

    regards,
    John

Sorry its not working for you Kevin,

Which version of Outlook are you using? - 2013, 2010, 2007......?
Confirm that Outlook is your default email client.
Confirm that Display each email when sending more than one in Edit > Preferences > Online is ticked.

    Try this .....

Create two invoices and tick the box To be emailed in the bottom left.  Do not click on the Email button at this stage.

Open a new invoice form and click the dropdown arrow alongside the Email button and select Send batch and send the emails.

Do you see the email forms, one by one, awaiting for you to click on Send?

Let me know how this goes.

    regards,
    John

Hi John Thanks for your prompt reply. Our quickboos is 2012-13 premier edition. We getting close. I tried what you advised and its working . The only problem i have now is that I would like to send invoices seperately not as a batch . I noticed that I can tick or untick the invoice numbers , but is there any easier way so by just clicking on the email bottom , the new page opens up so i can edit the email and then click send? By the way you mentioned about making sure outlook is my default email client. where do i find setting for that? Again I appreciate your time and help.

    That's good to hear Kevin.

Sending emails one at a time should work the same way (it does for me).  Give it a go.

We know the emailing system does work so hopefully doing a batch has cleared something.

Let me know how you go.

    regards,
    John,
