Emailing invoices - no pop up or sound?

No pop up or sound in Reckon Accounts 2014 to notify when sent?

We have just upgraded to 2014 (desktop) and so far so good, emails are going out and the templates are still working.  We have Office 2013 (desktop).

When inside an invoice, the 'email' button works a little too well.  Like this lady: https://community.reckon.com/reckon/topics/keep_sending_5_copies_of_same_invoice_is_there_a_pop_up_o... we have sent multiple copies of some, and it doesn't look professional.

I looked in Edit > Preferences but couldn't find the button mentioned in that post.  Is there a setting somewhere I can turn on, so we get the olden-days notification?  Maybe just luddites but it's nice to get the sound and the pop up to be sure.

Or is there a setting I should be looking for in Outlook?  I googled but couldn't tell.

Thanks for your advice

    Hi Mereki,

Thank you for contacting Reckon Community.

There is no sound available when emailing an invoice in Reckon Accounts Business

I'm not sure of a setting in Outlook either that would allow you to do this.

The pop up that you're referring to would be the option to Display each email when sending more than one (Disregard the reference to more then one as it will still display an individual email

    In Reckon Accounts Business

Go to the Edit menu > Preferences > Online > Company Preferences

Tick the checkbox "Display each email when sending more than one"

Now email an invoice and you will notice the email is displayed with the invoice attachment, you can edit the email before sending.

    Regards

So if you are sending just one email, the message will still display even there there is not 'more than one'?

    Hi Inigo,

    Yes that's correct.

Disregard the reference to it displaying "more than one"

Thank you - found it! Not sure why I couldn't see it the first time.
