Employees as COGS

How do you separate employees into COGS and expenses? As in some work on jobs or 'projects' and others do admin?
Going into it further, is there any way I can separate the employees hours into COGS and expenses?
And is there any way I can see the hours someone has done on a project, not just the monetary value?

    Hello Samantha

    You need to set up separate payroll items, and link the new items to the COGS accounts you require.

    Then use these new payroll items in the employees pays.

    Awesome thanks! Do you know any way I can see the hours someone has done on a project, not just the monetary value?
