Error message using free Reckon STP app

Hi
I have a client using the Reckon STP app.
We have set everything up but when we go to make the first submission, we receive the following error message:

Looks like an odd error Larissa,
Can you close the app in full ie. swipe it away from the running apps on the phone and try it again please?
Does the same thing occur?

Yes - same error message.  The client is using a Samsung Tablet - does that make any difference (sorry - should have mentioned it earlier). TIA

Hi Larissa,
No it shouldn't be a problem to use on a tablet but can you advise which tablet it is and which version of Android its running?

Also, could you do me a favour and uninstall the app from the tablet, restart it and then reinstall the app as well. 

Also, are there any fields that you can see in the employee details that contain any special/invalid characters eg. quotation marks in the address fields, brackets or dashes in the phone number field etc?

Using The Samsung galaxy Tab A, SM-T355 tablet.
Will double check again for not special characters.
