Error Message: Your list of user names and passwords appear to have been tampered with, or has become damaged. You may encounter problems logging in.
I had this message last week and it has come up again today. I can log in and have verified my data is correct. But when i try and do a back up it has come up with a Error message: Reckon Accounts was unable to backup your company file.
Can anyone help with this problem?

Hi Paul,
If you have not yet made any changes to the upgraded data file, then consider going to the original backup file you created prior to the upgrade and re-upgrading that file to confirm whether the problem happens again.
If you have already made changes to the upgraded data file, follow the steps below.
Edit the Admin user record.
Change the password to something else and save the change.
Edit the Admin user record.
Change the password back to what you want it to be and save the change
Close the program.
Re-open the program and confirm that the error is no longer displayed.
As part of the file maintenance process, backups should have the full verification option enabled.
