error occured while attempting to reconfigure your new edtion of reckon you must return to the old v

i am trying to upgrade to 2016 premier from 2015 premier and have done the download and installation without issue but when i open the 2016 version, and the select which business area i am in, (general business edition) and click finish I get an error saying "an error occured while attempting to reconfigure your new edtion of reckon, you must return to the old version and get a new version by mail on cd? i am sure I get this same bl**y error every yera. is anyone alble to assist? i am currently on hold with the support desk but its telling me the wait will be over 30minutes!
