Employee doesn’t have super salary sacrifice set up. However, in one of latest pay same amount shows both under statutory super and super salary sacrifice on the STP export. How would this be fixed and re-upload to ATO?

    Hello Everyone,

There is no legal requirement to pay an Under-18yo the Super Guarantee, unless that employee has worked 30 hours in the week, and earned more than $450.00 in the month to date.  If you choose to pay super to  employees who do not qualify for the super guarantee, then it is reported to RESC, as it is a super payment outside statutory requirements.

If your employee is over 18 yo and an amount is appearing in RESC when it should not, then check the super items you are using, the rate and their setup.

    Hope this helps.

    regards,
    John.
