It's acting up while one of our computers is logging in.

It says the installation may be modified.

However,
1) We can log in on other computers
2) The "problematic" computer can only log in (I reckon that means there's no problem with the installation) while one other computer is in the same file.
 What I did was
    i) log in on one of other computers
ii) switch to single-user mode and switch back to multi-user right away
iii) Then log in on the "problematic" computer

Please help.

    Hey John,

This error indicates that your firewall isn't set up to allow Reckon Accounts to access company files; or a recent update to your Anti-Virus is causing the AV to incorrectly identify 2 QuickBooks files (QBDBMGR.EXE and QBDBMGRN.EXE) as being infected with a virus. The AV then quarantines these 2 files and prevents RA from accessing them. (Note: AVG is particularly vulnerable).

Please follow these steps to check that access is allowed to the files from the Firewall: http://kb.reckon.com.au/issue_view.asp?ID=220

If this does not resolve the situation, to check on your AV detection please see: http://kb.reckon.com.au/issue_view.asp?ID=3841

    Thanks,
    Mirko
