Hi, I'm new to Reckon and not tech-savvy. Can someone please give a list of instructions on how to export sales data into Excel. I am hoping to get a list of certain products bought by all clients in the system during a given time frame. I know how to export this to a PDF, but not to excel. I tried looking at similar questions previously posted, but they were either from a few years back or not exactly what I am looking for. Thank you kindly

Hi Jane,

Welcome to the Reckon Community.

Which product are you using - Reckon Accounts Business/Hosted or Reckon One?

In Reckon Accounts, create the report you want and then click on the Export button at the top of the screen to export the report to Excel.or CSV.

In Reckon One, click the dropdown next to the Export to PDF button and choose to save to Excel, CSV or RTF.

Hope this helps.

regards,
John

Thank you John. That did help. But the file has been downloaded to Q-drive. My bookkeeper told me not to use Q-drive, so I am a little hesitant. I don't want to mess up the system. Is there another way around this? Thanks again

Hi Jane,

Yes, that is the drive it will save to.  Use the Floating toolbar to download the file to your local drive.

Hi John,

I'm trying to do the same thing in Reckon one, but I can't find any reports related to item sales. Is it possible to get this data out of Reckon One?

Kind regards,

Lucy

Hello Lucy,

Welcome to the Reckon Community.

There are 2 reports you can look at.  In the Customer category there is a Customer Transactions Report.  In the Analytics category there is a Top 10 Income Accounts Report.  You can export both these reports directly to Excel, CSV, RTL or PDF.

At this stage there is no direct report for Items.

Hope this helps.

regards,
John

Thanks for your quick reply John, but neither of those reports shows the actual items sold! They only show the totals of the transactions. For example, if I invoice a customer for 6x of item1 at $8 each and 4x of item2 at $20 each, it only shows the $128 payment. What I'm after is 6x of item1 and 4x of item2, so I can track what my best sellers are, and what is trending up and down.
Hello Lucy
Depending how important this report is , we may be able to pull up a Report tool real time basis, to get get his info.
But this is a service we provide.
