We use Reckon Accounts premier Edition. Over the last 2 weeks I have problems exporting reports to excel. When I click export the following message comes up" Server Busy This action cannot be completed because the other program is busy. Choose "switch to" to activate the busy program and correct the problem. When I click on "Switch To"      and then Excel, a blank screen comes up and I have to keep clicking on switch to and eventually the excel file is available. Our IT support have updated Reckon today, but the problem is still there.  Please help. Thanks Carmel

I use Reckon Personal but never use the Export command.

    I simply:

    1. Open Excel to the worksheet  I want the Report to go to,

    2. Click the cursor on the Excel cell where I want the top left-hand corner of the Reckon Report to be placed,

    3. Right-click the Reckon Report anywhere, and select "Copy to Clipboard",

    4. Move the cursor to the cell in Excel where I want the top LH corner of the Report to go,

    5. Click Paste or CTRL V, and this pastes the Reckon Report into Excel, where I can reformat it etc.

The only problem I have with this is that if I have been doing lots of copying and pasting prior to using this process, the Reckon Report is pasted as a 2 or 3 line string of data. If that happens, I turn off the computer and unplug it. Leave it for a few minutes, restart the computer, and then follow the process described above. The Process then works fine,

    Hope this helps.
