Jeffrey.  You could try the following steps which tend to help at various times.
1.  Login and go to the Control Panel
2.  Go to Log off Remote Sessions (under System Maintenance) and ensure that all users are logged off.  If they aren't, log them off.  The logout yourself and close the browser tab.
3.  Close down your browser and then restart.  By doing this, the likelihood is that you could end up logging in to a different server.
I would mention that I have been logged on since about 10:00 am and have just logged off, without any dramas or disconnections myself.

As there might be some idle time I needed to configure to avoid the user losing the session? Or how am I to let my users be informed?
