GovConnect ABN already registered

Lots of people seem to be having the same issue. 

Tried calling support but just get put on hold for ages.. 25 mins passed this time. It's a bit slow eh?

Can someone please clear the ABN out of govconnect for me? I've never registered it (knowingly) in the past.. only ever used ReckonOne.  ABN is 37 615 904 071

    Hi Alex,
    When I look at this ABN I can see that its registered already on our STP app. Is that what you want or need to use?

    Or are you using a full fledged Reckon accounting software for payroll so you need the GovConnect service?

    I cannot see where on the app to connect to the ato to check lodgements

    You mean the STP phone app? Ah, that's where it's registered. No, I don't want to use the App - I downloaded it to see what it was like because I had trouble in Reckon One deleting some erroneous pay runs and the STP there would not have added up properly, but now that seems to have been taken care of, I'd rather go through the full-fledged Portal as an integrated system.

    Gotcha thanks. I've removed the registration from the app now. So just login to the Reckon Portal again register the ABN in GovConnect and it should work without a problem this time around.

    Im having the 'ABN already registered' error through GovConnect. Support either has long holds or don't reply emails. My abn is 19954979262. Please fix this ASAP

    I'm having the same error through the STP app. Just keeps taking me in circles of 'ABN already registered. You may already have an account with us. Please login" which I then try to do and am again asked for our ABN only to be told the same message again. My ABN is 19575410805. Please fix this ASAP... cheers

    Hi Reece,
    Your ABN is registered in the STP app. Do you need to use the GovConnect service?
    If so, I can delete it from the app since you haven't made any submissions yet but I'll wait to hear from you before doing so.

    John,
    You've made a typo in your email address when you first registered for your app account and ABN (spelled bigpond as bogpond). I've deleted the erroneous account now so make sure you close the app in full, sign in again using your CORRECT email address and then register the ABN. It should work this time without a problem.

    You can go ahead & register the ABN in the GovConnect service now using the same account.

    Hi Rav, 

    I'm having this issue as well with 'ABN already registered' error through GovConnect. ABN 48 611 135 687 and email is sean.telebug@gmail.com

    This should be good to go for you now. Just try registering it again as normal and it should go through without a problem. Let me know if you have any trouble.
