GST Branch suddenly not recognised

The app has just this week come up with we have to change the GST Branch code. We have used 1 (one) for all this year without a problem. We have sent an email to you as instructed in the app but we really need to get this fixed as it may affect JobKeeper. Please help.

I am also in the same position as the above comment and have also emailed through my information and am waiting on replies for Job Keeper processing. Please HELP!
Same here when I have gone to lodge STP using the app this morning. "Review company details" came up and "update GST Branch" ??  Never realised there was a "GST Branch".....

Also on start up it asked me if I'd paid employees since July 2019 and when I selected skip, it said, something about you can update when you do your first pay run.... BUT I've been using it all year!?!?!

This is just to lodge normal employee payrun, no Job Keeper involved.

Like others I've emailed, and included quite a few question marks!

Can I just confirm you've sent your emails through to the singletouchpayroll@reckon.com email address for the branch number changes?

Apologies for the delays, the teams are under the hammer at the moment with JobKeeper etc but I'll give them a nudge on this.

Hi Rav. Do the problems with requests for GST Branch codes that people are encountering require email action via the singletouchpayroll@reckon.com - or this a more generic issue? What action is recommended for those unable to submit payruns? Appreciate your advice. Brian

I haven't contacted ATO but am unaware of any GST branch number changes. I see the app is also asking me to contact ATO to submit software ID, but this verification was all done on set up almost 12 months ago.  This all seems a bit weird.

Thanks for the response and look forward to getting it sorted out.

This is all we need when we are trying to ensure we get Jobkeeper.  !!!  I can't even get into the app now.

Yes we have sent an email on Thursday as instructed in the app. We must have it for JobKeeper to prove we are still paying our employees the $750 per week from the beginning of March so we can apply for it at the start of May

Okay. It now appears fixed for me. When I got the message regarding confirm Company Details, I entered that tab, exited it and then went instead to the software tab above it. In this screen I was asked to submit the software to the ATO by ringing them. But at the bottom of the screen when you page down it asked if I had done all this which I confirmed. Both tabs were now green. Then it allowed me to send the pay run to the ATO which has been accepted. I'm  happy now. I note that the version is now 1.12. As a software coder and app writer I appreciate the complexity of this app and the pressure felt by others when it doesn't work.

Hi everyone

I have just hit these same problems this morning when doing a payrun. All the unusual behaviours described by others in this thread. Now the app is locked in the GST Branch Code Change instruction screen and I can’t go forward or back. Any suggestions? Not helpful at this time !!!

See my fix above. You may have to force exit the app and try again. The app was working correctly this morning when I paid my staff
