After editing an invoice and whilst waiting for it to save, the invoice has disappeared and when I searched the invoice is now deleted. How can this happen?

    Hi Ann

Hmm … That does sound strange.

    • Do you verify your data file on a regular basis?

It’s important to do this routinely, especially before saving a backup.  If you ever need to restore a backup & the data is corrupted, your backup will be un-useable!

    • Have you noticed any glitches during any other processes?

Any crashes / shutdowns / error messages etc could indicate a data corruption issue.

    • Does this only happen for one particular Customer or Job?

If so, it sounds like it’s that particular Customer / Job that’s corrupted but this is easily resolved by editing that Customer / Job name & re-creating it again as a new Customer / Job.

Then amend the old name to prompt the “Merge” option.
