My payslips for this pay only shows YTD from this pay, so basically missing all info from Jul 2019 till last pay how do I fix this. Is there a diff in starting schedule payroll to clicking on unschedule payroll. Surely there’s a fix to this

    Hi Marissa

Is this a new reckon file used for the first time or is it an older file which has just started this issue this financial year?

If new file, check the start date/month in company setup?  Rebuild and verify file.

If old file you haven't cleaned up the file have you.

Hi thankyou for replying, it’s an old file just started this issue. I’m not sure what you mean by cleaned up files could you please enlighten me. I run a weekly backup and I encountered an error 2 weeks ago and had to run a data recovery and rebuild but it hasn’t fixed the problem as I still had to run a data recovery n rebuild again last week, I have actually asked about this to fix the problem. Could this have caused it to reset YTD this time.

    Hi Marissa
Clean up the file is under utilities, it really only should be used by an expert and only when the file gets so old and big, this can actually purge some of the old entries.

Rebuild & verify will never lose this information, it is supposed to fix a lot of this stuff, but you said data recovery, this would have to been done by reckon support team.  If your file had to be data recovered then I would say some of the data was not recovered.

Ok have you run various reports to establish the YTD is missing or if it is only missing from payslips.  There has been a lot of issues where accrued leave doesn't report correctly on the payslip only, all reports have the leave correct. It is time consuming ti fix the issue.

Can you run reports please and let me know if YTD is correct on reports.

Can you also please check the template for the payslip, just in case the YTD field is actually just another current field on the template.

    file menu>utilities> rebuild data

are you using the std template or did you set up your own, if your own do you have a place on the template for the ytd.
