Hi ,I am having issues with Reckon since the recent upgrade.

Hi,since the recent upgrade trying to scroll up or down an invoice is hopeless.There is a grey vertical panel that now sits on top of the vertical panel with the top and bottom arrow on the right.Prior to the upgrade this new panel was not there.It goes away if I wait but returns as soon as my cursor is moved.I wish that Reckon would revert back to how it was.The same issue is also on my customer list ,on the right when I try to scroll up or down.The new vertical grey panel interferes.Also since the upgrade I can no longer cut and paste item descriptions from an invoice to the item list for ease of searching. Any ideas?

Hi there Greg,
Sorry but can I ask if you can upload a screenshot of what you're seeing on screen and in particular the panels you're referring to. (You can use the camera icon in the forum reply box to upload an image)

Also, which browser are you using when you encounter this? Does the same thing happen when you try on a different browser?

You having a laugh?
You clearly need to speak to technical support instead of a comms guy on their forum. Suck it up and make an effort to call & speak to the right people to solve your problem. Did you try another browser like was suggested? 

I'm no fan of Reckon myself but I equally hate it when users make no effort on their own part to get themselves out of trouble by troubleshooting and immediately bleat about poor service.

So until this upgrade,my service with Reckon was working perfectly fine.I do not want to use another browser.Reckon tech support can take up to an hour.Now I am in France and don't happen to be awake when tec support is available.,and I also do not want to pay for a lengthy international call.So I hate it when idiots make judgements when they have no idea-Get my message.

Hi - I'm having the same issue. Why could Reckon just not LEAVE THINGS THE WAY IT WAS! Agree with you Greg Reeves 100% (and I have learnt from FB posts recently what "trolls" are).

Not sure what you're inferring there and on the same token, I'm not making judgements. Merely observing that you clearly don't want to help yourself by performing basic steps that even any technical product support team will get to you to do.

Ok, with all that above I think this thread has gone far enough and before I close it, I'll add a couple of things.

Greg -
At the moment, our Hosted team is looking at a small number of issues that have arisen following last week's update.
Navigation around certain screens including the ability to alter the size of columns etc are part of those which will be examined. From initial outlook, issues around navigation appear to be isolated to devices with touchscreen capabilities eg tablets, hybrids etc and the workaround in the interim is to switch off touchscreen functionality. This will restore navigation for that specific Hosted session. It will need to be conducted again when you begin your next Hosted session.

I would also recommend testing a different browser to confirm if you are able to navigate successfully.

In terms of current work we're conducting as mentioned above, the first priority for the Hosted dev team at this stage is the issue around default paper size & print copies. Once that is solved, the team will move into the above.

While you have a valid point around the need for troubleshooting issues, I think its best to convey that in a more positive or inclusive way. While everyone has the right to express their own opinion and I'm not attempting to dampen that in any way, please keep in mind this is a community environment and to keep it a positive one. That isn't aimed at you exclusively, but to all members of the Reckon Community.
