I use Home and Business 2016. My computers hard drive crashed and now I have reinstalled the program on the new hard drive. The program now will not back up to a network drive that it has previosly.

    Hi Tony

    Is there an error message? what does it say or what is happening when you try to back up?
    screenshots are good and lots of info.

    Is your new PC able to see the backup drive on the network or is it an issue with the new PC and sharing.

    Hi,
    Thanks very much for replying, the error code is 7038. My computer is able to see the backup drive when using windows explorer. I have been backing up to the external drive before the hard drive (SSD) died on my Dell. My Dell has a SSD for windows and a standard hard drive for the storage of data. My external drive is a 3TB Seagate connected with an ethernet cable to my Wi-Fi station. My Dell is connected by Wi-Fi only.
    I have updated windows 10 as much as possible (a week ago)
