Can anyone confirm. There is a base of $450 per month before super is payable. We employee a lot of casuals who may not reach over the $450 till say the last week of the month. I have setup super to pay once the $450 threshold is reached, so for alot they get super in the last week of the month only. My question is: are they also due super info their previous weeks pay as they have now reached over $450 for the month??

Hi Sharon. If the threshhold is set up correctly, the super will kick in as soon as they pass $450.00 so the minimum will be 9.5% of $450.00.  It's important to be aware, the first 450 dollars is not exempt from super. It's included in the superable wage. Kevin t:0407744914
