Superannuation Can anyone confirm. There is a base of $450 per month before super is payable. We employee a lot of casuals who may not reach over the $450 till say the last week of the month. I have setup super to pay once the $450 threshold is reached, so for alot they get super in the last week of the month only. My question is: are they also due super info their previous weeks pay as they have now reached over $450 for the month??

From previous tests with Reckon, the super calculated once an employee goes over the threshhold will calculate any super that should have been paid for that month as well. i.e. in the week they go over, the super on their payslip for that week will be 9.5% of the gross wages for the month to date.1
