How do I import item list to Hosted?

Hi there,
I'm just trying to set up a free trial of hosted and I want to set up a new company file for my business, but import some of the inventory from the item list in my desktop version to hosted.

I have managed to export the file to a .csv and then import but the items don't show up in the item list.

Any ideas of where they are or what I might have done wrong?

I'm getting the impression it's not as simple as just exporting the item list to excel and then uploading? I have to edit the data and put in headings etc and then import and upload, is that right?

Hi Amelia. The file must be in CSV. Then upload that CSV using the floating bar when you're logged in to Hosted. Usually it will be in the B or Q drive, all in the hosted cloud environment. Then do the usual import inside. Hosted must have the files first in the cloud so to speak, or in other words, the CSV file must be in Hosted environment.  I hope that answers :)
