Hi,

Our organisation has two computers, one at reception and one in an office. We used to have just the one at reception, and so this one is set up as the 'Administrator' and when we added the second computer it had to be setup as a 'User' and has less authority and ability than the administrator.

Is there a simple way we can switch these over? So that the computer in the office is the Administrator and can use all functions (BAS etc) and the computer at reception is just a user and will be used purely for checking on and generating invoices.

We are using 'Reckon Accounts Premier - Accountant Edition 2015'.

Any help or advice on this would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Jill.

Hi Jill It is the company file that houses the users that you log into the file as. Therefore your two users are administrator and user, you can log on to any of the computers under any user name so just swap the logins, so in the office when you open the co file just change the user to be administrator and login and then in reception when you log in to the file turn type in user and go from there. Hopefully this is what you are referring too. Good luck
