how to sort my estimates report by a certain field rather than the customer name

Thanks everyone for your help!  I now have a nice report with all my estimates information showing and all the fields I want in there.  The problem is that I do not want the report listed in alphabetical order by Customer Name.  I want to sort the list by a field that I created in there under additional fields. I have gone into the column display and ticked the one I want and I have ticked the Display report by, and picked the field from the list.  But still it sorts the list by the customer name instead of by this field I have ticked it to sort by.  Is there a way to build a custom report that would create this for me?  Thanks for all your help :-)        I really do not want to have to export to excel and do a sort there, (which will have to be constantly updated), otherwise defeats the purpose of using Reckon for quotes.

I have discovered how!  If you run the report the following way, instead of the Estimates by Job way, then you can sort the report by any of the fields within it.  So run the report this way:
Find, Transaction Type, Estimate, Detail level summary only.  Click on find, then on the Report button. Then go to Modify Report and on the display tab you can choose/remove other columns as you desire (even ones you have added as extras through the customer define fields method).  Then you can sort by whatever field in this report you wish.  Once you are happy with the report, you can give it a unique name (Report Title) on the Header/Footer tab in Modify Report, then click on Memorise to save all your tweaking.  This has been a joint effort by contributor Acctd 4 (Shaz) (Emma) and myself.  Thanks Emma, you saved my world.
