how to submit payment summaries to the ATO through Accounts Hosted?

    What Kevin failed to state, is that there is no direct lodgement of Payment Summaries via Reckon Hosted.

    There is the STP process to lodge the income statements for 2019, or the old EMPDUPE process.

    You can export out an EMPDUPE file from Reckon Hosted, which can be downloaded, then uploaded to the ATO via the business portal, or by your accountant.

    From the Employee top menu select Process Payment Summaries, ATO Magnetic Media (EMPDUPE)

    Check the Tax year, select all, preview, then can select Electronic File, to export the file.

    Then use the Download tool box to copy the file to you local computer.

    Use the ATO business portal to lodge the file, or securely send the file to your accountant for them to lodge on your behalf.

    Hi Kevin can you help me? When I try to lodge the EmDupe file using the business portal I get an error saying contact software developer the file size is not correct multiple of the record length. I am using the download tool and saving file to my desktop.
