How can I be a data entry operator when Reckon won't let me enter any data???

I logged in to the new Reckon without an issue, thank you. However, I can't enter data in my daily timesheet. When I click in a box that already had data in it that I need to add to, it highlights the whole text and I can't move the cursor to the end.  When I take the cursor tot he beginning of the text and try to move through it to the end, it highlights as it goes. Also, I have never seen the TAB button go backwards but that is exactly what is happening now. Please help.

Yes my TAB button go backwards as well. And you can't use the arrows to go up or down in the drop boxes. Also you can't change part of the description from the previous bill- it highlights the whole line and you have type the whole description! Please fix them!!

I am having the same issues when trying to set up a new account also, cannot use the enter or tab button to start a new line of text just won;t do it. Plus thought i was going mad when the tab button went backwards and cannot stop the tab button from highlighting the whole line. does anyone know a Company Accounts program for Mac that will work well, cannot afford this time to not have my Business working with my accounts program.

I am using Mac and having the same problems. Have you found a remedy? Another post mentioned its adjustable in a drop-down called Preferences, but I don't it.

Hi All
Ditto to this problem, data entry has fallen apart since the upgrade, its actually impossible to add another address to a customer as you cannot get to a second line by any key... I have used many accounting programs but have NEVER seen these kind of bugs in one before...

I had these return/enter key and tab problems too. I saw a helpful post suggesting the following:

Click Edit Menu
Click Preferences
Go to the General section
Untick the Pressing Enter moves between field

Hope this helps.

It's very random. TAB sometimes takes you backwards but sometimes forward. Software bug? Please fix them, Reckon!

Hi Every one,

What Web browsers are you using?

Most people are getting best results by using Chrome.
Internet Explorer especially can have tab move backwards issues.
