Your email window may have gone in the background, and thus it appears to be frozen. Can you please press 'Alt + Pg Up' key on your keyboard and see if you can access the email screen. more details here http://kb.reckon.com.au/issue_view.asp?ID=5252

So regarding the email confirmation, as the emails are sent out from Hosted profile, and not from your local Outlook, it will not go to 'sent items' folder of your outlook. However we have some workarounds suggested as on this KB http://kb.reckon.com.au/issue_view.asp?ID=5187.
