I am trying to backup company file but it keeps saying unable to backup. Have tried to do it by taking off verify data option but it failed again. Backup I did last night failed also and previous one was start July.

Had exactly the same problem 2 nights ago, try to fix another damn leave of payslip issue, and had to rebuild the file 3 times, back up failed twice.
closed reckon window/reports open, logged out, logged back in, ran a backup & it worked, then did the 3 rebuilds and the back up worked on all.1 -

When you are encountering a problem with a specific error message being displayed, try searching for those exact keywords/phrase on the Community in case others may have experienced the same issue and a solution or workaround is available.
DATA RECOVERY: Refresh credentials if encountering WARNING: Your list of user names and passwords appear to have been tampered with
