I can't email as the payment summaries will only print

Help please I was about to email payment summaries and Reckon just froze ! Had to reboot PC and now all I can't email as the payment summaries will only print.

I select payment summaries to email
I select names tick
When in window to select forms to send the window has not transferred the details to send.

    Hi Kim.  Have you checked any of the employee records to ensure that you have selected "Both" as the Preferred Send Form Method?

    Hello yes they are both email and print.
    I always email payslips.

    Kim, have you tried using a different browser?
    An alternative might be to rebuild your data (?File> Utilities> Rebuild Data) ?and see if that fixed it, if changing to another browser doesn't.\John L G

    From that it would appear that you have a corrupted payment summary which could likely be the first one, seeing that you are not seeing even one in the screen.

    Hi, I am having the same problem. did not have any problem in 2017/18 version.

    the payment summaries print fine and also generate pdf is fine. so i dont think there is any corruption issue. i have also tried selecting only one payment summary but the result is same

    we are on win10 and using office 365.

    i can't rebuild files also due to the dreaded pp.tps file missing error.

    Is it for our default browser (which is chrome) ? I shall check tomorrow if there is a global setting for that in chrome. Btw i can confirm that payroll 2018 1can email fine on the same pc.

    The proble is an issue for Hosted which requires everybody to enable popups John L G

    Ho John, enabled popups in chrome - but makes no difference. same error and email fails

    Hi!  Did you get a fix for this?  I'm now encountering the same issue.  Did the 2018/19 updates for STP and tax tables, now having this issue.  Tried a few of the previously suggested fixes.  Just did our first monthly pay run since the update.   Argh!  ;)  thanks!

    Hi yes I did it took some time all fixed.
    Go into print and email screen regarding pay roll and just keep tab and delete.
    Until it disappears it took about 100 times about 3/4 hour until the screen change.
    Its working great now I had a corrupted file.

    Wow it finally has come good!  I was starting to lose all faith!  Thanks Kim Marie.  I was seeing posts of people getting it in 15 times and was getting disheartened.  It took a few hundred times but now has started working.  Lets hope that doesn't happen again.  Cheers!
