It have Reckon POS professional 2013 and I have been trying to set up a loyalty program and I am stuck on how to give the discount automatically, the only way i can do it now is by doing it all manual - (I made a shortcut to take 10% off) but then I have to go into adminitratoir and reset the points manually.
Very ignoring.

Thank you in advance

Hi Nicolas,

I assume you have set the points up correctly in the POS Administrator program by the sounds of it and customers are collecting points etc correctly.  It shows Loyalty points available in the customer list when selecting the customer on POS system?

So I guess the real question, is how are you trying to redeem them?

You need to add a "Tender Loyalty Points" function key to the layout to 'redeem' points. This key is left off by default. You can edit the keyboard and change say the manual CC key to be "Tender Loyalty points" key if not used.

Then the process to redeem points is as follows

- Select customer (note points)
- scan items
- type in the number of Loyalty points you want to use, ie 500
- Press Loyalty points tender button
- A credit will be applied
- Tender out remaining balance if required to complete transaction

Things to note

- You can only apply one 'points' discount per transaction.
- Press F1 while in POS client, for help, type loyalty to jump to the help section. Covers these things off pretty well in there.

But if you only want to apply the discount at certain point redeemed levels, then I think you'll have to do it manually. :(

Any reason you don't increase the points earned?

See comment above about increasing points earned vs offering a discount. The outcome is the same to you/them.
