I deleted the Google Authenticator on my phone and now cannot log onto Reckon GovConnect. I am currently on hold to support but is there a way I can manually revoke the authorisation without speaking to a consultant?

Hi Tracy,
You can revoke MFA from your account yourself via your Reckon Portal account settings but it requires that you have the original app that you used to authenticate initially. Unfortunately, as you've deleted the app, this won't apply.

If you don't have the original Google Authenticator used or if you need a MFA code revoked from your Reckon Portal account for any reason other than the above, there are stringent security controls around this.

You must get in touch with our Support team to initiate it as they will need to verify the account owner. If this is successful, they will organise for MFA code to be revoked. Its not instantaneous unfortunately due to the sensitive nature of information in the Single Touch Payroll process.
I was having trouble getting the MFA to work on another computer and I stupidly deleted the Account that I am trying to revoke - who should I get my boss to contact to revoke the MFA code?  Or can I can the email address and try creating a new one that way?

I don't recommend setting up a new account as it won't let you register the ABN again for STP.

I'd recommend getting in touch with our Support team so that we organise getting the MFA revoked after going through the security check.

This has still not been rectified and now we are three pays behind!  My boss rang someone last week who told her that she couldn't log in to the portal because I had access so they had to cancel my log in to fix her log in issues.  Firstly I find this puzzling because I was under the impression that anyone could access the portal as long as they had their own log in and own MFA set up?  She still can't log in to the portal and I still can't lodge any STP due to my MFA not working due to our new server and all of our computers being upgraded and everything being wiped!
Can someone PLEASE REVOKE MY MFA so I can at least lodge the last three pays before we get in trouble by the ATO!  And can somone please get back onto my Boss Sharene and let her know what is going on? :(

I have downloaded google Authenticator. The code is not accepted. I talked to a support team and was advised it is not the correct one. He give me the screenshot of the correct one but cant find it when I search the app. Can someone help me.

Hi Jovie,
If you set up MFA successfully and then deleted the Google Authenticator app from your phone then the MFA link to your Reckon Portal has been broken.
If that's happened then as above, the only option is to speak to our support team to have your MFA revoked from the Reckon Portal.
