I have just updated to windows 10 and now I am being asked to pay for a new installation. Surely this cant be right?

I had a company add a solid state drive to speed things up. They cloned my hard disk and then transferred everything to the SSD and also upgraded to Windows 10 from 7. Now when I try to access my reckon accounts 2016 it says I need to purchase a new program.

It sounds like you might be using the Reckon Personal range and are getting the error of "This does not appear to be the same computer your copy of Reckon Accounts was originally installed on"

Is that the case?
If so, please check out this KB for steps on how to resolve this -

Thanks Ray. I rang the Reckon Office this morning and they very kindly gave me a new number. I am now functioning as normal.
