I've been using Quicken 2010 Personal - Can I move my Quicken files over to Reckon Persona Plus? Also I would like to move to online for when I'm travelling, so I can add expenses etc. whilst overseas - is that possible with Reckon Personal Plus? I don't want to pay out $160 until I know more about the Reckon Personal Plus, as I've already found that Quicken HCX, IDX, & QFD files are not compatible with other programs - is this the case with Reckon Personal Plus? Thanks for some insight, as the website doesn't tell you much at all. Wendy Laing, Melbourne

Hi Wendy,
Let me confirm, are you using the Australian version of Quicken Personal 2010 ie. Not the US version?
If so, then you will be able to upgrade directly to the current edition which is Reckon Personal Plus 2018. The installation and upgrade guide from our website has more info here -
Reckon Personal Rage Installation & Upgrade Guide

In regard to the file formats you have mentioned, they are specifically for use with Reckon Accounts Personal so they will not carry over to other solutions.

In regard to online access, the Personal range is a desktop ie. offline based solution so you will not be able to access it remotely online.

Thanks Rav for the prompt reply - so per what you said, my Australian Quicken personal will be able to upgrade directly to the current edition, Reckon Personal :Plus - but isn't an on;line program.

By upgrading, does that mean my files automatically transfer through to the upgrade??
