Why are my reports trying to print in ASC11 file format?

I can print everything but Reports. The printer doesn't recognise ASC11 File format.

Can anyone tell me how to change the file format?

    Hi Cecil,

    welcome to the Reckon Community.

    It sounds like you have "File" selected in the Print To box, and the file type selected as ASCII.

    Click on the Printer option and select your printer.




    This should get you printing.

    Hi John,

    I have upgraded to the Reckon hosted 2014. I have logged into the software but my printed options are not available. Is this something that has changed in the new 2014 release?

    Hi Natalie,

    Thanks for asking the Reckon Community and sorry to hear you are having this problem.  

    Firstly, in Manage My Account, delete the print files and try again.

    If you still have the problem, then maybe your Citrix Receiver does not have sufficient permissions to attach to your local printers.  

    Follow these steps:
    1. right click the Citrix Receiver symbol in your System Tray;
    2. select About > Advanced > Connection Center;
    3. Under Session Security, click the dropdown arrow in the USB/other Devices box and select Full Access;
    4. Its worth having the other options set to Full Access as well to ensure the Citrix Receiver has full permissions to access resources on the local PC;
    5. Click Close and OK.
    Now try again.

    If your problem persists after these steps you'll need to call Technical Support for further assistance.
