Why can't I schedule backups after upgrading Accounts Business?

I can go through the process of setting up a backup location, selecting to automatically backup on exit and creating a schedule to automatically backup at 1am daily however after clicking OK, when I exit Reckon the backup on close does not work. when I come back into Reckon none of the backup settings have been saved?

This was working fine for me with Quickbooks Accounting 2012-13 before the upgrade.

    We are aware of this issue; it has been rectified in the R2 version of Reckon Accounts 2013.

    Alternatively you need to create a folder called QuickBooks 2013 at the following location C:\ProgramData\Intuit\

    To do this, go to Start->Computer->Local disk C and double click on the Program data folder please note that this folder may be hidden depending on your operating system security.
