I have crested an IIF and when I import to Reckon I have an error
Error on line 4: you can't change the type of a name or add duplicate name
Can I send an email of my file and error snip for someone to advise what needs to be changed?

Hi Kay,
This type of error is normally when you are assigning a name that already exists in your Reckon under a different entity type. Basically, Reckon uses the name as a unique value for Customer/Employee/Vendor/Other List. For example, you cannot have John Doe as both Customer or Employee. Try to change to unused names and it should work.

If you cant easily see where the duplicate is Kay, open the iif file in notepad - make sure that text wrapping is NOT on - then count down to the 4th line... look for a name - put a . after the last letter of this name - save and try importing again...0
