Import qif memorise categories

Hi. I have Personal Plus 2009. When I import QIF statements into Personal Plus from the American Express website, the file is saved as something like ‘ofx.qif’ The categories that I had previously assigned get carried across. e.g Woolworths gets categorised as food. Pretty useful. But when I import a qif from Westpac, it gets saved as ‘data.qif’,and no categories are remembered. I have to categorise every item. Does anyone know how what causes this? Thanks
