import template for new job to existing customer

Hi, we typically have many new jobs created and linked to one customer. Does Reckon have a template (xls. csv ??) that allows you to bulk upload many new jobs and link them to existing Customers in the database ?

Hi Lisa,

The best way to see what the export/import format looks like is:

1) Create a blank new data file
2) Create a Customer
3) Create a Customer:Job that is linked to that customer
4) Export the Customer List as an IIF (tab-delimited text) which you can open in Excel
5) You can then manipulate that file to create your own new "Jobs" which can be assigned to Customer names
