Hi, I am using Reckon Accounts Premier Edition. I have moved to the new FY2019 edition and have now realized that it is not the "contractor" edition I had last FY. This is my first time downloading and installing a new version. When I look at the properties of the file it comes up as "PremierGeneric" unlike last FY which said "PremierContractor".

This is a desktop module only installed on my machine.

Should I reinstall it again and if so will there be an option to select the contractor edition? I don't recall seeing this but may have missed it.

After that I can use the last backup I did as the source file, at least that is what I did when I started using this one in July.

I need this edition as there are a couple of features I have realized I am missing because I am on the wrong edition.

I did email Reckon a few weeks ago but have heard nothing back from them. Is this normal?

Appreciate any help you can give me.

regards
Debra

    Hi Debra

Am assuming you mean 2018 as 2019 doesn't exist yet (next year's release) ...?

Yes, uninstall the program & re-install again which will allow you to select the "Edition" you want to use.
