Installing Reckon Accounts Personal 2013 on win8

I also have problems installing Reckon Accounts Personal 2013 on Windows 8. I am able to enter transaction but not able to back-up. I get a message "Reckon has encountered a problem...Error code 6928. At installation there usually are 5 Qdata sections installed but in my case Qdata QDF is missing. I thought no problem I'll uninstall then install but then I get a Reckon error message 1723. "Problem with Window installer . A DLL is required. Has anyone else had this problem and could they fix it. Maybe my best move is to now buy the 2014 version !!! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers. Jim. Hi Jim,

Thanks for asking the Reckon Community.

Given the error messages you quoted it appears that there may be some problem with your PC that is preventing the installation process.

Please talk to your IT professional on the best course to take. Downloading and installing a new Windows Installer package (in the second link) may well fix your issue.
