Is there a report I can produce in Accounts Hosted that shows inventory bought and sold over a period of time? We are trying to compile a list of, say filters, that we have bought and sold so we can go to a supplier and bargain on our buy price.

    Hi Jo-Anne

There's an Item Profitability report which would suffice but I think it's only in specific editions (Under “Project Costing” default reports).

You can tweak the Sales by Item Summary instead though & then memorise it for future re-use:

    • Click on Reports (along the top toolbar) then under the Sales heading, click on “Sales by Item Summary
    • Click on the “Modify Report” button (top left of report)
    • On the Display tab, change/edit the Report Date Range, Report Basis & Columns to display

You can also click on the “Advanced” button to select All/Active/Non-Zero options for row & column display

    • On the Filters tab, select “Item” in the Filters list, then choose “All Inventory Items” from the dropdown Item options
    • On the Header/Footer tab, you can give this report a more personalised name in the Report Title box
    • Click on OK

Depending on how your Items are set up, you can tweak this further to only show specific groups/types of Items.

Once happy with it, click on the “Memorise” button (next to “Modify …”) & save it for next time.
