Hi Jan,
If you try opening the sample file or a backup file do you encounter the same error message?

From what I understand, that error message pertains to an extensively damaged/corrupted data file

If you are encountering this error message, there is an existing support article that may

assist you in resolving the issue

Error -6150 , -1006: An error occurred when tried to create, open, or use the company file

How many backup sets do you have available?

Have any of those backup sets been tested and confirmed to be able to be restored/opened successfully?

How old is the most recent, good backup set that is able to be opened?

If you have attempted to follow the support article and have not been able to resolve the issue, then we can take a look at the file along with any good older backups you may have.

As a preventative measure, we recommend that file maintenance be performed at regularly scheduled intervals to confirm and ensure that the file is error-free and that the backups being created and saved are error-free.
