Is it possible to restore a Quickbooks Premier: Professional Services Edition 2011-12 backup file into Reckon Accounts Hosted? We are using a trial version of RAH to determine whether to migrate to RAH or stay with Intuit and migrate to Quickbooks Online. We have tried to restore a .QBB file and have tried to open a .QBW file created by our Quickbooks 2011 desktop version, but RAH does not appear to be able to recognise either of those files. Does RAH create the B: and/or Q: folders on your desktop or can we do that manually and move the .QBB/.QBW files there manually?

Hi Steve,

Welcome to the Reckon Community.

Yes, your Quickbooks Premier: Professional Services Edition 2011-12 will open in Hosted.  You will have to use Hosted's floating toolbar to upload your backup from your local drive to Hosted's B drive, the drive on the Hosted Server for backups.  Launch Hosted and restore your backup.

To smooth the upgrade process run a Rebuild and Verify over your 11-12 edition and follow up on any errors before creating your final backup for upload to Hosted.

regards,
John
