How do I backpay Jobkeeper top-up payments to staff after I have processed the pays in April. I will defined the staff as starting jobkeeper payments from the start of April when they are listed on the ATO website after the next pay.

I also have this same question.  The Guide provided doesn't cover this

Hi guys.  I had the same query but I think you can include the backpay in an upcoming pay event.  It doesn't matter if it is paid late, so long as it is paid prior to the end of April as per the JobKeeper website advice below.  You just have to work out the numbers so you have paid the employee a total of $ 3,000.00 for the month.

    Hi Mark,

This is correct, you are able to do a to up payment until the end of the month. Please ensure you also include the JOBKEEPER-START-FN01 (or 02 item if employee became eligible in fortnight 2) in your update reports.

    Hi Simon,

Rav advised that there is no need to use any of the JOBKEEPER-START-FNXX allowances in Payroll Premier.

    Hi Mark

That is correct, for Payroll Premier it is a slightly different process. Apologise for the confusion
