Login forces to re-register

Hi
I tried to login to the free STP mobile app today (which seems to have a new blue icon).
The app has been great for me up to now.

This time when I tried to log in it  sent me to the ABN search.
I put in the ABN and selected the company - now it appears to be sending me through the registration process.
I've been using the STP app for 10 months now so I am already registered.

The app seems to be stuck in the registration process - at the question asking "Has paid any of its employees on or after 1st July 2019?"
So this looks like a new registration to me.
I don't want to proceed in case I now lose 10 months data.

What's happened and how do I get back to logging into the app?

Hi Shean,
Can you let me know the ABN that you have registered into the STP app while you were using it initially?

Yes it put me through the same thing this morning which was annoying.  I had to sign in again but I just followed the prompts and it ended up accepting my original details including ABN etc. without losing any of my original data thank god

The Reckon STP app has just been updated and my problems resolved. Try loading STP V 1.12.2

The version I have installed is v1.12.2.
But my problem persists.  :(

I've taken a look at the ABN registration and it looks ok in terms of its registration. I can see it was created last year and there have been a few submissions sent. The account is under the same email address as the one you've created this Community account with.

Can I just confirm, are you using the same login credentials to sign-in?
If you're using a different set of login details, the account will be created as a brand new one etc and ask you to enter the ABN.

Initially this morning I used the fingerprint login facility - so yes the same credentials.

However now, when I try to log in, the fingerprint option is not offered and I have to use my email address. The email address is then same as registered for this community forum.

Ok can you do me a favour, logout of the app (if you're logged in) and close it in full ie. swipe it away from your running apps.
Open the app back up and sign in with your existing credentials. If the app asks you to enter YTD and you know you've already done it, just hit the 'Skip' option.
Once that is done, can you let me know if you can see your previous submissions, existing employees, details etc

I closed all apps.
No apps were showing as running.
Then I went to Apps and used "Force Stop".
Then I clicked on STP.
It does not take me to the login page any more.
It Immediately opens a screen which asks "Has paid any of its employees on or after 1st July 2019?" see attached.

OK - I hit the skip and proceeded through the menus and it does show my previous data.
So it seems ok.

I will log out and test again.

Edit - I logged out and logged in again.
All seems to be working.

Update - the App requires me to re-register with ATO when I went to submit a STP - which I am going to try ignoring - see if that works.

Hi Rav
I updated the free app on Thursday before trying to submit a pay run. When I logged in, I was asked for our company name ( ABN 57808180616) and for some reason a new profile was created and all my pay history was lost.
Could you please help me fix this. I need to submit last Thursday‘s pay run as soon as possible ( was due to be submitted on Thursday 7th).
