MAJOR PROBLEM WITH DOWNLOADING NEW TAX TABLE

TRIED TO DOWNLOAD NEW TAX TABLE AND GOT AN ERROR MESSAGE TO USE THIS PATCH YOU MUST BE ON R1, ALSO CANNOT OPEN SOFTWARE NOW AND MESSAGE SAYS CODE EXECUTION CANNOT PROCEED BECAUSE TXNCORE.DLL WAS NOT FOUND. SO CANNOT ACCESS ANYTHING.

    Can you please confirm what version of Reckon Accounts you were using?  The Tax Tables will only install on 2019 R1 - so if you were running 2018 - you need to first upgrade to 2019 R1, then apply the R2 patch.  There will shortly be a full version of 2019 R2 - so if you are still on 2018 - are you able to hold off for a day or so and then download and install the Full 2019 R2?

    Hi Linda - we have installed 2019R1 and Tax Tables will be installed this week.  Will we still have to do the FULL 2019 R2 upgrade?  We are paying a technician by the hour to install on various work stations and it is costing lots of $$$$??  Thanks!

    You wont need to put the full R2 onto your computers if you are doing the R2 upgrade... perhaps consider next year contacting one of our Accredited Partners for your upgrade installs - they have more experience with the software and access to support and would hopefully be able to do this in less time?  With the advent of Team Viewer and other remote access options - its not as big a task as it used to be... I usually log in and do the network upgrades for my clients and their IT tech just does the firewall changes on the server.  Good luck!
