I am having the same problem with Reckon Accounts Plus 2013 using Windows 10 Home on a HP Laptop. Today is the first time it has happened. I could not find any tasks for QuickBooks/Reckon. I have recently switched from McAfee to Bitdefender to protect my PC.

Hi Dennis,
While we have a Knowledgebase article in relation to this error message, it pertains to users who are running Trend Micro as their security solution with multi-user functionality in Reckon Accounts.
Nonetheless, it may be worth a look in terms of the overall process -
Error: "You do not have sufficient permissions to delete files in the specified folder.."

I am not trying to run in a multi-user environment although the message seems to think I am.

It looks like Bitdefender has the same problem as Trend Micro. I found messages in Bitdefender and added Reckon applications. It all seems to work now.
