Motor Vehicle expenses percentage business use

We claim a certain percentage of our motor vehicle expenses. Is there a way you enter in the % and then Reckon will automatically work it when I enter the whole expense?? Or do I have to manually work it out and only input that amount as an expense? Thanks

    No you can't use %'s, however you can quickly do the calculation in any field that accept numbers. So when entering on a cheque you can enter the full amount on the docket as, example - a docket of $50, if you claim only 70% enter it in the value field as  50x0.7 and this will very quickly give you the result. 
    Not sure if you were aware that all numerical fields can be used as simple calculators.

    This actually can be done automatically (I've done it successfully with home office and vehicle expenses).  It's quite complicated to set up and works a treat when done.  Please let me know if you'd like some training in this.
