This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled multiple clients for a tax agent. As a tax agent, I have more than 30 clients want us to deal with the single touch payroll, just want know which reckon product gonna be better for us, the reckon one or the reckon account hosts. thanks.0

Hi Chloe,
You've set up the STP entity which is good, the question from here is, has your client shared their Reckon One book with you so that you can start submitting STP pay events on their behalf or is that up to you do?
If so, then you'll need to create a Reckon One book for whichever businesses require accounting software.
I think it would be better if you describe your requirements and/or how you're attempting to set things up so we can point you in the right direction.ℹ️ Stay up to date with important news & announcements for your Reckon software! Click HERE for more info.

I have to set up for everything and then do the STP for my clients.0

My client just want me to do everything for them, If so, reckon one still be the best choice?(As I have to pay every single reckon one book) Or reckon hosted??0

That's a hard question for me to answer because it depends on what you and your clients needs.
Reckon One and Reckon Accounts Hosted are both cloud based solutions but have different levels of functionality. They both come with free 30 day trials, so my recommendation would to trial both and see what suits you in terms of doing everything you need from the software.
Reckon One is a low cost solution starting from just $5 per month and is paid on a per book basis whereas Reckon Accounts Hosted is paid per licence ie. 1 user = 1 licence.ℹ️ Stay up to date with important news & announcements for your Reckon software! Click HERE for more info.

I have a similar problem, I just got the reckon account host for STP only(as I have to set up for a bunch of my clients), Do I need to set up all the details even I just want to use it for STP?? Just feel so complicated.0

I just got my clients to sign up with Reckon One using their credit card details and gave me the login details. I then set it up and they’re doing the weekly payroll, but if I have to I just logon0
